This chick is too cute now, but already is showing the obnoxious curiosity of its parents. The Delawares seem to be unflappable. I'm sure you've heard of 'flighty' breeds, and this breed, in my experience, is on the other end of the chicken confidence spectrum. They climb on and explore anything new in their environment - the tractor, the feed bucket, and strangers, for examples. I wonder if other Delaware owners have noticed this personality trait, or is it just my flock? Makes them great farmyard pests - I mean pets - and free-range foragers.
